Whenever we are in Acireale we go to RE DOLCE & FREDDO, and you should, too. But forget about any diet, temptations everywhere. Acireale is knowm for the best granitas in the whole of Sicily, and this is surely true for RE DOLCE & FREDDO. An absolute must-try are the 'Setteveli'-cake, the orange-pistachio cake and the almond granita: THE highlight. It comes with hot coffee and a soft and fragrant brioche. Divine!

Croissants, various pastries, cakes, granitas - every sweet tooth must go there. The cafe is always frequented (guess why) and often you'll have to wait for a table. It is also a lovely place for an aperitif and some appetizers or a nice cup of tea or hot chocolate in the afternoon.
