Every thursday at 21.00 h there are special shows for travel agencies and independent tourists.

The Teatrino Ditirammu is a lovely little theatre focusing on the traditional Sicilian folk music. With a perfect location right in the historic district of Palermo, the Kalsa, the theatre was founded by Vito Parrinello and Rosa Mistretta in May 1998.

Teatrino Ditirammu has only 52 seats, making it one of the smallest theatres in Italy, and it is certainly the only of its kind in Sicily.

Just to the see the lovingly decorated rooms of the theatre's museum, the Canto Museo, is worth a visit. Period furniture, old Sicilian music instruments, colourful things everywhere - it is like being catapulted back for at least 50 years.

There is a small if not to say 'cute' stage, colourful lights are enhancing the lovely and homely atmosphere - this little theatre is one of the best places to get to  know the long tradition of Sicilian folklore music and have a wonderful evening.
