Grab your camera for a sunset van ride to the Saline di Trapani e Paceco nature reserve. Snap photos of flamingos, avocets and other birds. Check out the plains where salt has been harvested for centuries. Meet your driver and guide at your hotel before heading out of town to the reserve. There are almost 1000 hectares where birds can roam. Bring our binoculars for a good view while keeping a respectful distance. Stop at the Maria Stella mill for a free walk (salt mountains and basins) Photo stop at the Chiusicella Salt Mine Stop at the Culcasi Salt Mine to visit the historic windmill that has been turned into a museum.
