Description

You will be welcomed into an elegant and relaxing environment, where you will forget the chaos of the city for the duration of your experience. The tasting begins with a glass of sparkling wine, followed by a glass of white wine, a glass of rosé wine, and finally one of the famous Etna DOC red wines, made from Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio grapes, the principal varieties of the Etna area and of Sicily as a whole. During the tasting experience, you will also be offered a tray of local artisan cold cuts and cheeses to pair with the wines. The tasting will be guided by an expert sommelier who, through information about the wineries and wines, will immerse you in a unique and unforgettable tasting experience. All in the heart of downtown Palermo. The Etna experience includes: 1 glass of Etna DOC sparkling wine, classic or Charmat method; 1 glass of Etna DOC white wine, made from Carricante or Catarratto grapes; 1 glass of Etna DOC rosé wine, made from Nerello Mascalese grapes; 1 glass of Etna DOC red wine, made from Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio grapes; 1 platter of 4 types of cold cuts and 4 types of cheese, accompanied by bread; assistance during the service by specialized staff, with information on the tasting itinerary and the wineries.

Important Information

• The price of the tasting does not include the choice of wine cellars or the variety of food offered, which is exclusively chosen by the wine shop staff from the labels and types available on the shelves and at the deli counter. The tasting lasts an average of 1.5 hours up to a maximum of 2 hours. If you decide to stay in the restaurant beyond the duration of the tasting, you will be required to order from the menu. Before starting the tasting, you are required to report any food allergies or intolerances in order to avoid unpleasant incidents.
