Description

Starting from the Catania Cruise Terminal or your hotel in Catania, Zafferana Etnea, or Taormina, we'll head to the southeast side of Etna, the highest active volcano in Europe, in a Nissan Pathfinder 6 Pax Jeep with air conditioning. We'll go as far as the Valle del Bove, where you can admire the 1992 lava flow, a breathtaking panorama, and discover the function of volcanoes, the benefits on its products, with a tasting of local honey. You'll put on your helmet and, equipped with a torch, you'll discover a Lava Tube, a Lava Flow Cave, then, equipped with sticks, you'll do a light tracking on the Cone of a Lava Crater at an altitude of 2,100 meters to discover a fantastic lunar landscape. You'll end the tour with a tasting of Etna white/red wine and arancino, before being taken back to the meeting point.
