Description

We meet at the port of Catania with a welcome drink to start the day in the right spirit. On board, you will find a fresh and light brunch based on seasonal fruit and typical Sicilian desserts, an authentic taste of local tradition. After a short briefing, we set sail along the Riviera dei Ciclopi, sailing caressed by the midday sun and the light wind. The itinerary includes panoramic stops at the Caves of Ulysses near Ognina, the picturesque Castle of Aci Castello, and the famous Faraglioni of Acitrezza, where you can take unforgettable photos. In a quiet bay, we drop anchor for a swimming stop: stand-up paddleboards and air mattresses are available for you to enjoy the sea in complete relaxation. During the break, we serve typical Sicilian snacks, such as arancini, mini pizzas, and other local delicacies, accompanied by a selection of cocktails, wine, beer, or prosecco. With the scent of the sea, music in the background, and the flavors of Sicily, we sail slowly towards the port of Catania. A simple and authentic experience, perfect for enjoying the sea in true Mediterranean style.

• The activity requires a minimum of 4 participants. We ask that you arrive 15 minutes before departure time. Please let us know of any allergies or dietary preferences when booking. This sailing activity is organized by ASD Saraventu, an amateur sports association. As part of our mission to promote sailing and maritime culture, the experience is designed to introduce participants to the basics of sailing in a practical and relaxed setting. You will spend a full day at sea, learning the fundamentals of sailing under the guidance of our certified crew. In accordance with Italian law, all participants are temporarily registered as members of the association for the duration of the activity. This ensures insurance coverage and complies with the educational and sporting aims of our association.
