Description

Begin your tour with pickup from your hotel in Catania. Head toward the water’s edge as the sun begins to lower. Your first stop is Aci Trezza Seafront and Faraglioni Rocks, a coastal village famous for its sea stacks known as the Faraglioni jagged lava rocks that rise dramatically from the Ionian Sea. This fishing town inspired legends from Homer’s Odyssey, and its harbor walk is perfect for golden hour photos. Then, head to Aci Castello Castle Viewpoint, a medieval castle built directly on black volcanic rock, perched above the sea. Admire the fortress from the panoramic square or opt to enter for elevated views of the coastline as the sun dips toward the horizon. After soaking in the views, your driver/guide will take you back to Catania, just as the city's lights begin to glow.
