Description
Aboard a beautiful 12-meter boat, we'll set sail from Cefalù to the Aeolian Islands for an unforgettable day adventure. On board, you'll enjoy an all-inclusive service with unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, fresh fruit, and a delicious aperitif with typical Sicilian snacks. You can enjoy these while admiring the dolphins that will accompany us to the islands. You can choose between two different itineraries: - Alicudi and Filicudi; - LIPARI AND VULCANO. Hours: 9:00 am to 8:00 pm Let's start talking about the Aeolian Islands. Alicudi and Filicudi, the smallest of the Aeolian Islands, aren't very touristy but are definitely enchanting. That doesn't mean they're deserted. Although few, tourists are there, and it's clear that they prefer this aspect of the islands, namely, absolute tranquility. With no roads, Alicudi is the wildest of the Aeolian Islands. You can explore Alicudi's rugged and jagged coasts by boat, setting sail from the island's only inhabited center. Monte Filo dell'Arpa, the summit of the now-extinct volcano that forms the island, is crisscrossed by numerous mule tracks that start from Alicudi Porto and lead to the valley where lava once flowed before spilling into the sea, and up to the summit. The trails also allow you to do a complete tour of the island. Alicudi's tiny, pebbly beaches are perfect for snorkeling. The hike to Scoglio Galera, along the west coast, is really nice. Mostly rocky, the beaches of Filicudi are characterized by rounded pebbles of various sizes and lava formations. The mostly high and rugged coastline boasts several famous diving spots, such as the Grotta del Bue Marino and Punta Perciato. Capo Graziano beach, a long strip of sun-baked gray pebbles, is the most famous on the island and is located along the southeast coast not far from other tiny pristine bays. Lipari is the largest island and the one with the best connections to the mainland and the other islands. Lipari is very popular and is the ideal choice. You can get around the island independently, with a rental car or by scooter. Alternatively, there's also a shuttle bus service that connects the main tourist spots on the island. You can opt for a convenient carnet: 10 tickets cost about 10 euros! On this island, you'll find everything you need, from supermarkets to restaurants, so it's a particularly recommended destination for those traveling with kids. Right after Lipari, you'll find the wild island of Vulcano. A volcano once stood here, hence the name. It's now extinct, but some features on the island, like the thermal springs, mud, and black beaches, still perfectly recall its presence. A very exciting experience on the island of Vulcano is trekking to the volcano's crater, from which you can admire an enchanting view of the Aeolian archipelago, a true jewel in the middle of the sea.Includes
