Antico Hotel Roma 1880
Sicily
The Antico Hotel Roma 1880 is framed on one side by the cathedral and on the other by the Archbishop's Palace and overlooks Piazza Minerva. The hotel still contains many of the original features of the original building such as capitals, columns and vaults, an Arab courtyard, small hanging gardens and arches carved from volcanic rocks in the restaurant. Some remains of the old stairway of the Athena temple are visible through glass panels.
The outdoor place in Piazza Minerva and the large indoor patio allow guests to enjoy the ancient atmosphere.
Rooms are light and spacious, come with private bathrooms, wooden floorings and expensive fabrics. Nearly all are equipped with a small balcony overlooking Piazza Minerva, Via Roma or the interior courtyard. Along with all the essential comforts, every room also has free Wi-Fi connection.
