DescriptionYou will start your tour with a transfer to the village of Savoca, where you will meet with your donkeys. You will then be introduced to the basics, before you pick up your helmet and set off to a convent to visit a crypt. Once there you will learn about the history and landscape, before visiting bar Vitelli, where the famous Godfather movie was shot. Whilst here you will also taste a typical 'lemon granita', made with the original recipe. You will then continue your tour on your donkeys as you head to Nino’s bakery to taste his delicious biscuits. After this, you will move on to a cathedral from the 12th century, and listen to your guide as they explain the secrets of the structure. You will then head to San Giovanni for an amazing view of the valley, the castles on the coast and Savoca Castel's Ruins. Afterwards you will move on to Santa Lucia church, which was also a Godfather shooting location. Finally, you will head to the best wine shop in Savoca for a tasting of Sicilian products such as olive oil, almond wine, limoncello, and pistachio cream. At the conclusion of your tour, you will be returned to your nearby accommodation.
