Following pick-up from your hotel or other location of your choice at a time to suit you, travel by comfortable air-conditioned car to Europe's highest active volcano. Enjoy stunning sea views on the drive through the picturesque villages of Sicily en route to Mt. Etna.
Arrive at the charming mountain town of Zafferana Etnea and take part in a tasting of authentic honey from the region. Continue your drive to reach the plateau where the mountain hut of the Rifugio Sapienza is located, 2,000 meters above sea level.
Experience the unique atmosphere of the volcano and its lunar landscapes first hand. See the famous craters of Silvestri and purchase souvenirs made from lava at one of the many shops. It is possible to include an additional service for the Cable-Car + 4X4 Experience. This service has an additional fee of €79.
After your visit to Mount Etna, your guide will chauffeur you in relaxation to one of the best family-run wineries on the Etna slope. At the winery, you will embark on a tour of the estate, observing how the grapes are grown and exploring the cellars, while an expert sommelier provides insights into the winemaking process and the history of this family-run winery. Following the tour, you will indulge in a traditional, delicious, and hearty lunch featuring locally produced cheeses, prosciutto, fresh bread, olives, and homemade olive oil, along with a traditional Sicilian pasta 'alla norma' dish. To complement your meal, a professional sommelier will offer you tastings of four glasses of Sicilian Etna red and white wines.
