Description

At the Bovo Marina riding stable, you will be welcomed by the equestrian nature guide, who will introduce you to the horses and give you a short safety briefing before you get in the saddle. Once you are ready, you and your partner will set off on a horseback ride lasting approximately 2.5 hours, designed for pairs of experienced riders who are capable of handling their horse at walk, trot, and canter. From the riding stable, you will head towards Eraclea Minoa, following a scenic route along hilly trails, stretches of countryside, and views of the sea along the Sicanian coast. You will reach the pine forest of the Foce del Fiume Platani Controlled Nature Reserve and the golden beaches of Bovo Marina and Eraclea Minoa, continuing on to Capo Bianco, where you can admire the spectacular white cliffs rising above the sea and take panoramic photos with your horse. From the Capo Bianco area, you will continue towards the Platani River: here, if you wish, you can enjoy a unique experience by taking a refreshing dip in the river with your horse, for an even more direct connection with nature. At the end of the ride, a delightful refreshment featuring local products will be waiting for you, which you can enjoy in a relaxed atmosphere with your partner to bring the experience to a perfect close. The itinerary then continues to the Eraclea Minoa archaeological site, where you will ride among the remains of the ancient city before returning to the stables along the beach or through the pine forest, depending on the weather and terrain conditions. Throughout the excursion, your guide will accompany you, keeping the group close-knit and adapting the pace to the participants’ level to ensure safety and enjoyment.
