Description
Come and enjoy a unique experience with our quad biking through the natural wonders of the Etna volcano. Our tour will take you on an exciting journey to discover the wild and untouched beauty of nature.
Departure times: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM – 02:00 PM – 04:00 PM – 05:00 PM
Meeting point: Baita Euro Etna Tourism – Piazzale Funivia Rifugio Sapienza
You will be the star of the tour, driving the quad throughout the route. And if you come with a friend, you can both try driving, taking turns during the breaks.
The itinerary starts from the Sapienza Refuge and heads towards “Parco dell'Etna”, where we will go deeper to better observe how the morphology of the volcano has changed after the latest eruptions. We will pass over explosive craters that are now extinct and cross a forest of Etna pines. Our expert guide will share anecdotes and curiosities about the volcano's ancient origins and finally lead you inside one of the two hundred lava flow caves in the Park.
Pre-departure info: please arrive at least 30 minutes before departure for gear pick-up, paperwork, the latest information from the INGV Catania volcanological bulletin, and ticket pick-up.

⚠️ IMPORTANT — A valid category B driver's license is required to drive the quad (minimum age 18 years old). Minors under 18 years of age may only participate as passengers, accompanied by an adult driver. Do not reserve a quad for a minor: upon departure, they will not be allowed to drive and no refund will be provided.
Families: if there are more children than adults with a driver's license (e.g. 2 adults and 3 children), you can request that one of our guides take the child as a passenger on their quad. The service must be requested at the time of booking and is subject to availability — contact us immediately after booking to confirm.
