Description

The experience begins at the DOSicily Store on Via Messina 192 in Bronte with check-in and an introductory briefing on the Etna area and tour details.

After the briefing, you will drive your own vehicle for about 5 minutes to the DOSicily estate at 900 meters above sea level on the edge of Mount Etna Park. Here, walk through family pistachio groves rooted directly in black lava rock and learn how these ancient trees have thrived for generations.

Choose between two guided trail options: La Grotta del Nonno, a comfortable route rich with local tradition, or La Cresta del Serpente, a wilder path with panoramic views. Both trails lead to a scenic spot where the historic Circumetnea railway crosses the property.

In complete safety, you will have time for photos as the Etna Train passes through the dramatic landscape of lava, pistachios, and mountains. Note that the train photo moment is only available on the 10:30 AM tour.

The tour ends at the DOSicily Store with a free guided sensory pistachio experience in an air-conditioned room. Taste typical Sicilian products and drinks, then browse and optionally purchase items before you leave.

All tastings comply with HACCP health and hygiene regulations and take place in a clean, sanitized, and air-conditioned environment. Outdoor tastings are not offered.
