Description

Not just a quad ride, but an authentic adventure in the heart of Mount Etna. With Milo Adventure, you will experience the volcano from an exclusive perspective, far from the beaten track and accompanied by local guides who know every path, every lava flow and every hidden story of the area. Our goal is not just to let you ride a quad, but to let you experience Mount Etna with all your senses, amidst nature, history, adrenaline, and views that will remain etched in your memory. We start from Milo, the village-balcony on the eastern side of Etna, surrounded by vineyards and centuries-old forests. After a short briefing of about 10 minutes, during which we will teach you everything you need to ride the quad safely, the adventure will begin along the paths of Parco dell'Etna, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We offer three itineraries designed to suit all levels of experience. Basic Tour (2 hours) – Also ideal for first-time quad riders. You will cross chestnut and oak forests and ancient lava flows and reach Monte Fontana, with a spectacular view of the Bove Valley, the largest volcanic amphitheater on Mount Etna. On a clear day, you can see as far as the Ionian Sea, Taormina, and the Calabrian coast. Intermediate Tour (3 hours) – For those who want to explore the volcano in more depth. The route leads to the evocative Ripe della Naca and the historic Bocche del 1928, the focal points of the famous eruption that destroyed Mascali. Our guides will tell you about the history of the volcano, its eruptions, and the curiosities that make the eastern side of Etna unique. Advanced Tour (4.30 hours) – The ultimate experience for off-road lovers. In addition to the most iconic viewpoints, you will reach the magnificent Monti Sartorius, a spectacular series of craters created in 1865, and the evocative Grotta dei Ladroni, an ancient lava tunnel rich in history and legends. The tour includes a break with a food tasting of typical local products. Our routes are designed to offer the perfect balance between fun, safety, and discovery of the area. You will cross forests, volcanic sands, dirt roads, ancient lava flows, and breathtaking views, always accompanied by experienced guides who will make each stop a moment of discovery. Unlike classic quad tours, Milo Adventure offers small groups, authentic itineraries and an approach that combines adrenaline, nature and culture. Each excursion is different because Mount Etna is constantly changing: colors, scents, and landscapes offer new emotions in every season. Our quads are modern, regularly serviced, and suitable for both beginners and more experienced riders. No off-road driving experience is required for the Basic and Intermediate tours. If you're looking for much more than just a quad ride and want to experience an authentic, exciting adventure full of spectacular views, Milo Adventure is the experience that will make your trip to Sicily truly unforgettable.
