The trip starts with a scenic drive to Rifugio Sapienza, the main starting point for hikes on Mount Etna. Along the route, stop at viewpoints offering views of the volcano and the sea. The guide shares detailed information about Etna’s geological history, magma, past eruptions, and lava formations.
From the highest road-accessible point, choose between hiking natural trails up to 1,900 meters through endemic vegetation and possible wildlife sightings, or an optional Etna High Altitude experience involving a cable car and 4x4 minibus ride (extra cost).
