Description
The first stop is at Tindari, perched on a rock high above the sea and known worldwide for its Sanctuary of the Black Madonna. This village was founded by the Greeks of Syracuse. Today, it is a place of pilgrimage but also the site of an ancient Greek temple, together with other remarkable remains. See the stunning the view from the Sanctuary’ Square, above the Tyrrhenian Sea. Visit the sanctuary and also to find out how the Statue of the Black Madonna was recovered from the Sea. The next stop is at Cefalu. In this lovely fishing village, soothe your senses. Wander through the narrow streets lined by little boutiques. The visit the Cathedral, which is something you cannot miss. After, have a break and enjoy a typical Sicilian snack with Tavola Calda from Catania water and Etna Red Wine. If you prefer, spend an hour of spare time to enjoy lunch in one of the many restaurants on the narrow alleys. Return to Catania for 7:00 PM.Includes
