Description
The experience begins directly at 'OBS – Officina Brassicola Siciliana', where you will be welcomed inside an authentic Sicilian craft microbrewery.
The tour starts in the production areas: you will discover how a craft beer is made, learning about the main raw materials used and the different stages of the production process. During the tour, we will also talk about what happens beyond production: from the creation of a product to the choice of the name, label, and image with which each beer is presented to the public.
After the tour, we will move on to the 'guided tasting of 3 craft beers produced by the brewery'. For each beer, we will discuss its characteristics, style, ingredients and interesting facts, so that you can learn to recognize different colors, scents and flavors.
The food tasting will be accompanied by a 'meat and cheese platter' chosen for each style of beer tasted and designed to complete the experience and create pleasant pairings with the beers offered.
This is therefore not just a food tasting, but a journey to discover 'Sicilian craft beer', told directly in the place where it is produced.
The activity **starts and ends at the OBS – Officina Brassicola Siciliana microbrewery**. At the end of the tasting, you will also be able to learn more about the different beers produced and, if you wish, purchase the brewery's products.
