Description
Experience an unforgettable day in the heart of the Protected Marine Area of the Egadi Islands, among turquoise waters, spectacular coves, and authentic seaside villages.
Departing comfortably from Palermo on a Gran Turismo coach, you will reach the port of Trapani where you will board a modern motorboat bound for Favignana.
During the sailing, the captain will share interesting facts, history, and characteristics of the beautiful Egadi Islands, preparing you to discover one of the most beautiful seas in the Mediterranean.
After about 45 minutes of sailing, you will arrive in Favignana, the largest of the Egadi Islands. You will have free time to explore the charming historic old town, stroll through atmospheric alleys and squares, or choose one of the optional activities available on the island, such as:
a scenic tour on the touristic train;
bike rental;
visit to the ancient Tonnara Florio and the museum.
After the visit, you'll return on board to experience the most exciting moment of the day: the panoramic tour by sea along the coast of Favignana.
You will sail past some of the most famous coves in Sicily:
Cala Rossa
Bue Marino
Cala Azzurra
When the weather and sea conditions allow, the motorboat will make a stop for a swim, allowing you to dive into the incredible crystal clear water.
During the sailing, lunch will be served on board, consisting of:
pasta with Trapanese pesto;
fresh seasonal fruits;
water;
wine.
In the afternoon, the boat will continue towards the small and charming island of Levanzo.
You will sail along its spectacular inlets and admire the famous Faraglione di Levanzo, the symbol of the island, as well as its picturesque coves that can only be reached by sea.
After completing the scenic tour, the return trip to Trapani will begin.
For those departing from Palermo, there is a bus transfer with an estimated arrival time of around 7:30 PM.
