Description
Explore Ortigia at sunset, starting from the striking Umbertino Bridge, considered one of the 30 most beautiful bridges in Italy. Our first stop will be the Temple of Apollo, the oldest Doric temple in Sicily, and then continue to Piazza Archimede, surrounded by historic buildings that tell centuries of history. We will walk through the most charming streets to Piazza Duomo, the beating heart of the island, where you can admire the majestic Cathedral, the Church of Santa Lucia, Palazzo Vermexio and other architectural treasures.
The tour will continue to the sea, where we will visit the famous Fountain Arethusa, a mythological place surrounded by unique beauty. Our last stop will be Piazza degli Innamorati, a picturesque corner of the island that, at sunset, is tinged with romantic hues, providing a breathtaking view of the sea. With the expert guide who will accompany you every step of the way, you will discover the history, myths and secrets of Ortigia in an atmosphere that only sunset can make so special.
