Description

Pick-up from your hotel in a tourist vehicle between 6:00 AM and 6:20 AM to head to the Salinas Lagoon. During the tour, we'll stop at the Chiguata vantage point, from where we'll enjoy views of the pre-Inca terraces and a panoramic view of the Misti, Chachani, and Pichupichu volcanoes. We'll continue the tour and stop at the Queñua forest at 3,800 meters above sea level, where we'll have a beautiful view of the volcanoes and the forest of these stunning trees that grow at high altitudes. We'll also stop at Cerro El Simbral, where we'll have a very nice view of the city of Arequipa. Then we'll continue on and arrive at Salinas around 8:00 AM, where we'll have breakfast for about 30 minutes. After breakfast, we'll take a tour to see South American camelids such as llamas, alpacas, vicuñas, and guanacos. Then we'll head to a place with hot springs and from there we'll take walks around the lagoon and enjoy the view it offers, surrounded by salt and its mirrors of water. We'll also enjoy the lagoon's vantage point, so you can take beautiful photos of the area. We will spend 2 to 2.5 hours at the Salinas Lagoon. And then we'll return to the city of Arequipa. We'll arrive in the city of Arequipa at around 1:00 p.m.
