Description
Set sail from Isola Bella on a scenic mini cruise along one of the most spectacular coastlines in Sicily: the Bay of Taormina, with breathtaking views of Mount Etna and crystal-clear sea throughout the journey.
During the tour, you'll discover some of the area's iconic sites: the Faraglioni of Taormina, the picturesque Isola Bella, and the Blue Grotto, famous for its intense reflections and crystal-clear waters.
The experience is one of a kind: among the departures from Isola Bella, it is the only one that combines a scenic cruise and a stop at Giardini Naxos, the first Greek colony in Sicily, where you can enjoy a moment of relaxation by the sea, take a stroll, and have free time to explore the area on your own.
Upon arrival at Giardini Naxos, there is about 2 hours of free time, ideal for swimming, relaxing or exploring the seafront and the beaches of the bay.
At the end of the free time, you will return by boat to Isola Bella, with a second scenic cruise along the entire Bay of Taormina, to conclude the experience in the most evocative way possible.
The experience includes:
Appointment 30 minutes prior to departure
Boat tour in the Bay of Taormina with a stop at:
Grotta dell'Amore
Capo Taormina and its elevator in the rock
Faraglione del Fico d’India
Isola Bella Marine Area
Blue Grotto
Boat equipped with awning, sun loungers, splash guard, music on board, and multilingual audio guide
Disembarkation in Giardini Naxos with 2 hours of free time
Return to the pick-up location by boat
Please note that:
Access to the Blue Grotto and the other caves is not guaranteed and is dependent upon the orders of the Harbor Master's Office and upon sea and weather conditions. If this is not possible, we will get as close as possible to allow the best view and photos.
