Baglio Di Scopello

Baglio Di Scopello is a hotel accommodation in the village of Scopello, Sicily, positioned close to the main piazza and the small selection of local shops and restaurants. The central setting makes the property suitable for travellers who prefer to reach village amenities on foot rather than rely on a car for every outing. Scopello is around the corner, with the market square and piazza only a short walk away.

The hotel combines a traditional village character with practical facilities for a relaxed stay. Rooms are described as charming and include traditional wooden shutters, while air conditioning is available. Some feedback has raised concerns about dated bathrooms, compact showers and maintenance, so expectations around room finish may vary. The property therefore suits guests who value location and atmosphere, while those seeking recently refurbished interiors may wish to confirm room details before booking.

Breakfast is served in both indoor and outdoor areas, giving guests a choice of setting at the start of the day. The pool is outdoors and accompanied by sun loungers and umbrellas. Ocean views are also part of the setting, adding to the appeal of the property for guests looking for a base with a sense of place rather than a purely modern hotel environment.

Service is a notable part of the hotel experience. Front desk and breakfast staff are described as welcoming, helpful and attentive, with local advice available for nearby outings. Staff have provided guidance about the Zingaro area and shown flexibility with guest requests. This makes the hotel a practical option for visitors combining time in Scopello with walks, coastal sightseeing or a wedding stay in the village.

Baglio Di Scopello is best suited to couples, wedding guests and independent travellers who want a hotel close to the piazza, village dining and local shops. The combination of a pool, breakfast areas, air-conditioned rooms and a walkable setting provides a comfortable base, while the mixed feedback on upkeep is worth considering alongside the hotel’s traditional style and convenient position.
