Cycle on the highest active volcano in Europe and tick an activity off your bucket list with full day trip on Mount Etna departing comfortably from Taormina or Giardini Naxos. Your adventure on the Etna volcano by e-bike will start when you meet your guide expert guide that will be with you on the majestic Etna trails: the route is off road so an intermediate level is required to take part to the e-bike tour, on a route of about 15/18 km in total. Be ready to get across the wood tracks, go uphill passing next to several lava flows stratified during the years on the northern side of Etna. Also, along the way, if possible, there will be a fascinating stop to visit one of the most beautiful lava flow caves of the whole volcano. The lunar landscape that was left behind is sure to take your breath away, so make sure you have your camera ready. The ascent ends by reaching the refuge, where you can relax in the shade of a majestic group of trees, before continuing the route downhill along the path that ends at the departure point. After this incredible experience, you’ll be likely to have worked up an appetite and no day trip in Sicily is complete without having lunch or tasting of typical products, so during this thrilling e-bike tour there will also be time for a typical Sicilian lunch, enjoying a well-deserved break after cycling along the volcano on board your e-bike. Bike tour difficulty: intermediate (ability to ride on different terrains - low/moderate physical effort). We regret to inform that this tour is not suitable for children under 13, for guests with wheelchairs or with impaired mobility. Please inform us of any food intolerance or allergy in advance. A THIRD-PARTY insurance for civil liability is INCLUDED in the price of the tour. As for any vehicle rental, please note that clients will be given two options to choose from, to cover vehicle damages (either one of these two will need to be chosen in order to rent the e-bike ): subscribe an additional insurance (€20,00 per vehicle, not refundable) or sign for a guarantee deposit of €500,00 on their credit card. The itinerary can be modified based on weather conditions to ensure the safety of customers.
