Description
The best way to know the great quality of the food produced in this area is visiting the farms where they are produced. In an old mill you will discover the difference between the stone mill and the cylinder mill. An expert will show you the techniques adopted for the production of wheat and finished products, such as flour and pasta. From the splendid golden colour of the wheat, and a small tasting of bread and oil, you will then visit one of the oldest nougat factories in Sicily, dating back to around 1870. Here you will assist to the nougat making and, always thanks to the presence of an expert, you will be explained all the steps of nougat production and of course you will also be able to have a little taste of it. You cannot miss the chance to live a sensory experience, surrounded by the infinite perfumes and colours of the vineyards; you will be able to visit the cellar, where you will be shown the processes of local wine production. At the end of your tour you will head towards a dream location, with a unique panorama where you can delight your palate with a good wine accompanied by a taste of typical Sicilian products.Includes
