Description

Depart from Avola and head south to the White Rocks of Lido di Noto. Enter the Vendicari Nature Reserve and cross the magnificent areas of Eloro and Marianelli. Stop for a swim in front of the Calamosche beach. Continue to the heart of the reserve to admire the beautiful remains of the Vendicari tuna fishery. Stop at the white beach behind the island of Vendicari. Observe the 4 Roman columns dating back to the second century AD from the floating boat. Sicily Boats provides all participants with snorkeling equipment, such as fins, masks, and snorkels. Navigate towards the island of Capopassero where it will be possible to admire the Spanish Fortress and try to enter the Polyp Cave. Leave the Gulf of Noto and reach the southernmost point of Sicily, the island of Correnti, right where the two seas, the Sea of Sicily and the Ionian Sea, meet. Continue sailing westwards, crossing the small gulf and, after just six nautical miles, reach the Faraglioni of Punta Ciriga. After some photos, snorkeling, swimming, and relaxation, sail along the coast in front of the Playa Carratois beach and reach the cliffs of Punta delle Formiche. Take advantage of this stop to savor an aperitif by toasting with Sicilian sparkling wine and eating arancini, scones, fresh fruit, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks. Return to the Gulf of Noto and head towards the enchanting Tafuri Castle, opposite the island of Capopassero, for some beautiful photographs and, above all, for a swim in the crystal-clear waters with Caribbean colors. Move to Marzamemi for a stop on land to visit the ancient sailors' village and, at your leisure, taste one of the many local culinary specialties or buy a souvenir. Finally, return to the port of departure in the late afternoon, after enjoying a magnificent sunset at sea.

Important Information

• 10 hours RIB boat tour, max 12 occupants , we suggest 8-10 for a better comfort. The average total navigation time is approximately 2 hours and 50 minutes, with the rest of the time dedicated to swimming stops and visiting Marzamemi. Participants will have the opportunity to snorkel and explore underwater sights, including Roman columns dating back to the second century AD. A stop on land at Marzamemi allows for tasting local culinary specialties or buying souvenirs. Enjoy a magnificent sunset at sea on the return journey.
